Fall is here and the weather is absolutely gorgeous in Ohio & Missouri. We love the coziness of this season. We're jumping the gun a little bit with our October newsletter but we wanted to make sure that you know about the Art That Blows Auction hosted by our non-profit partners, Band of Angels. If you look through the auction items you will find several pieces of jewelry and two pieces of art created by us. We are always thrilled to donate items to support this amazing organization.
This is a stressful time with a global pandemic and the US election coming up. One of the ways that we cope with stress is to make art. Every week we take a slow drawing class via Facebook Live with Amy Maricle of Mindful Art Studio. Here's the link so that you can check it out. You can also find her on Instagram. Kristi has also been doing some experimenting with paints. Art is incredibly therapeutic. Even if you don't consider yourself and artist, we highly recommend that you take one of the free Mindful Art Studio Classes just to give it a try. We think that you will be pleasantly surprised with how it makes you feel and the art that you create.Â
We hope that you are all staying healthy and finding joy this fall.
Shine On,
Kristi and Carolyn
PS. We are both HUGE Schitts Creek fans and were thrilled with their historic Emmy's sweep a week and a half ago. Watch the cast interview with Jimmy Kimmel the day after the awards. As always, they are hilarious!
