Favorite Finds Gift Guide

This fall has been glorious. Amazing weather and festivals/ art & craft shows back in full swing. We attended a few and wanted to show you some of the amazing artists we met.

  • This cutting board, from Lovely Grain Studio, featuring a favorite recipe passed down from a loved one would make a very special and unique gift. It's absolutely gorgeous isn't it?

  • This original painting hangs in our home and we love it so so much. Lawal Said's paintings are clever and breathtaking. We plan to collect more in the future. We particularly love his paintings that feature some of our favorite musical artists.

  • We spent some time chatting with the lovely Patricia from Palmer Place Fine Tea's at Ohio Mart in Akron. We purchased packages of Vanilla Rooibos, Earl Gray and a Detox Blend of loose tea. They are so wonderful and delicious! Patricia also has a gorgeous Instagram page.

  • We purchased two gorgeous owls from the extremely talented photographer, David FitzSimmons. He sells his wildlife photography and children's books that feature his photography.

  • We are both proud owners of the warmest mittens ever from Sully's Mitten Co. They are beautiful with fun patterns, made from recycled sweaters.

If you have a favorite find share it with us!

We've all heard about the supply chain issues and hopefully have a plan in place to get the perfect gifts for our loved ones. Please remember that when you shop small, items are often in stock and ready to go. As an added bonus you are helping a small business owner make a go of it in this big box world. Another thing to keep in mind is that USPS shipping rates have increased as have their delivery times. Visit this helpful link to the USPS site and scroll down until you find the info that you need.

We wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving. We are grateful for you!

Shine On,

Kristi and Carolyn

PS. Thank you Veterans for your service! Did you know that Mititary.com has a list of restaurants that offer a free thank you meal to veterans on Veterans Day?
