Earrings made from authentic retired piano keys

Each year brings new opportunities to connect with musicians, educators and music lovers. This winter has been full of connection and creativity - from Midwest Clinic memories to preparing for the Ohio Musica Education Association Conerence and celebrating Valentine's season.

Love, music, and meaning - all in one piece

Every piece of jewelry I create tells a story. Each one begins with a retired instrument transformed into something new, something meant to be loved the way musicians love their instruments.

Thank you Midwest Clinic!

Before I share what’s coming up next, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth at the Midwest Clinic in December. The conference was an absolute blast - I met so many wonderful musicians and music educators, including super fun music teacher influencers @mrs.allen.81, @mistahwhiteband, @mrsgatesband, and @mr.knicl. I also had a wonderful visit with my kids’ former music teachers from the North Kansas City District in Missouri. Chicago at Christmas, amazing food, and skating at Millennium Park - there are so many reasons to love the Midwest Clinic!

A Warm Welcome to New Subscribers

To all my new subscribers from the Midwest Clinic and my website, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. This is where I share stories behind the jewelry, what’s happening in the studio, and where I’ll be showing next.

Looking Ahead: OMEA and Valentine’s Day

I'll be exhibiting at the OMEA Conference next week in row 300. If you are attending, stop by and say hello - I'd love to show you my new designs and the stories behind them. Every purchase helps support Band of Angels, a non-profit giving the gift of music to kids who need it most.

You can explore pieces by instrument here to find something that resonates with you. Learn more about the amazing work of Band of Angels here.

P.S. Whether it’s for yourself or someone special, your jewelry should say something about who you are - passionate, creative, and connected to music in every way.

With gratitude,

Carolyn
