The Best Small Business Eco Friendly Gift Guide

In our humble opinion! If you are looking to shop small business for unique gift ideas that are earth friendly this year look no further. Whether you are shopping for practical or whimsical gifts this list has something for everyone. Here's what we came up with going from left to right in the photos:

1. Wild Wash Soap Co, Kansas City based maker of natural soap and skin care products.

2. O♡M bags made from recycled yoga mats. We especially love this Bernie Royal Bluebird crossbody purse. 3. Ovella Wool creates cool wool dryer balls and stain sticks among other earth friendly cleaning products. 4. Goodfaith Toys; educational wooden toys made by a Mom in Colorado. 5. Enchanted Leaves creates nature jewelry with organic materials. We are in love with this Fallen Copper Maple Leaf Necklace. It is made from a REAL maple leaf. Find out how she does it by visiting her online shop. 6. Begin Again Toys are a line of eco-friendly, non-toxic educational toy solutions. We love how they categorize their toys by play on their website. 7. Wild Blue Universe reusable eco-friendly washable sandwich bags and snack bags are fun, functional and SO cute! We especially love this Bright Fossils sandwich bag. 8. Coffee Sock creates reusable organic cotton coffee filters. You can also find other cool sustainable goodies on their site. 9. Bramble Market makes sustainable wraps. Look how gorgeous these beeswax food wraps are! How cool would it be be able to find all these things in one store? If you live in Kansas City we have the BEST news! Green Utopia sells products from ALL of these vendors, including Hang Ups! Green Utopia is open weekends at 3105 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO. Private shopping opportunities are available during the week (groups of 8-10 shoppers with masks).

We hope that you all had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgivings were quiet but restful and filling...oh the food. Just because it was just us and our kids doesn't mean that we skimped on the food. Check out this sourdough stuffing recipe - it is so amazing that we had to share it. This Christmas is going to be quiet, as neither of us are able to see our parents, but we're going to make the most of it. We are both doing our best to support small business and are making a concerted effort to order from retailers that don't start with an AMA and end with a ZON. We hope that your shopping is going well. If you find a great small business that you adore let us know!

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2021!

Kristi and Carolyn

PS. We got a kick out of this When Satan Met 2020 Match video. It's very clever and funny!
